you dont probably should in any way, you bought and payed for your account, there is not even a warn to people ingame, its not oblidged to game use that you go through forums to know of the incopetence in the security sistem of the game, the only ones that can be banned are those who duplicated the items.
Anet have the bad habbit on passing up theyr problems to users, they gave much more gold for free qhen they leveled prices, if i manage to buy armbraces for 5k its thumbs up to you, its not your fault they let the game be exploited.

Maybe you can repost that after you get banned so we can
laugh at you.

The fact is, if you want an armbrace then you know what an
armbrace is for, and you also have a good idea of what they're
worth. If you buy one for 5k and try to claim that you didn't
know there was something wrong with that.... well, like I said,
repost your viewpoint after you're banned so we can have a
good laugh.
